Grégory Michenaud

Freelance photographer based in Krakow, Poland. Member of the Association of Polish Art Photographer (ZPAF), graduated from Sputnik Mentorship program in 2013 and a participant of the VII Masterclass 2016-2017. Also a participant of few workshops provided by such photographers as Ron Haviv (VII agency) or Patrick Zachmann (Magnum Photos). In 2015, assistant and fixer of Patrick Zachmann during his few trip to Central and Eastern Europe.

He has been published in numerous magazines in Europe with also few individual and collective exhibitions in France, England, USA, Italy, Poland and Slovakia.

He obtained numerous awards and distinctions such as a 2nd place in Prix de la Photo Paris (Px3) and a 3rd prize in International Photo Awards (IPA) and Moscow International Foto Award (MIFA) as well as a multi-finalist of the Miami Street Photo Festival (2017 and 2018) and a finalist of the British Journal of Photography contest „OpenWalls Arles” in 2019

Actually working as a full-time photographer (digitization and event) for the National Museum of Cracow and as a freelance event photographer on a regular basis for Wawel Royal Castle-State Art Collection. He is also lecturer in the institute of art and design from the Pedagogical University of Krakow.
